so I picked up my very own pipe, and was trying to figure out some things about it. First it is a long shaft, a mouth piece at one end and a bowl at the other. The bowl end has a nosel which has a hudge knob on it. Now I always figured that the knob opened and opium was put in it but it appears to serve no purpose. so basicly its a nromal bowl in configuration. So do I just smear some tar on the walls of the bowl or what. I always thought there was a holder for the tar but maybe I was missled. BTW, my pipe is a hard redwood shaft, silver lace on both ends. The shaft also has silver rings holding it together through its length. Both the mouth piece, the bowl piece, and the bowl led thing are stained ivory. Its has carvings throughout the whole pipe.
