i get anxiety and paranoia sometimes....i just shake it off tho, im pretty sure that kinda thing will just happen with prolonged use of opiates, or any drug really.

I think I'm pretty much done with it. I used to never get sick on opiates now everytime I get shakey and feel like I'm gonna puke if I haven't puked already . I don't get how I don't get more used to it.

Yeah. It's funny because I did opiates almost daily for months... great highs, nodding off, feeling warm and fuzzy and talkative and happy.. then one day it just changed. Sometimes your body is just like "no" ... in my opinion you should just listen and do other substances that your body reacts well to. Then who knows, maybe in a couple months you'll get your hands on some oxys and have a great night, ya know?

I would try taking Beta Blockers every morning or so and see if that helps any with the anxiety. I used it when I played in a local jazz/swing big band combo so my nerves would be calm and the Beta Blockers worked great. Check them out on the Internet. I have never tried them with Opiates on purpose but I am sure they would not hurt any, especially if you are having anxiety problems. And, like Spens said, try Xanax or another Benzo, they always help (sure you already know that). Take care and happy trails, man.

Oh yeah, how crazy is it that I went to a party last night with a girl who has a script for xanax and will hook me up free. Maybe I won't have to try and sell already crushed up oc after all

I've had this response to Oxycodone a few times. Jittery, twitchy, nervous. It's because it's derived from the alkaloid, Thebaine. It's the only opiate alkaloid with stimulant properties. How much are you taking at a time? The beta blockers could help, something like Inderall, which is prescribed for tremor, high blood pres, and performance anxiety. I'd say take a therapeutic dose of a benzo with it, or mix with a more calming opiate to level it out. I know Depakote would help...it's an anti-seizure medication. Valium would most likely work better than xanax since it has better anti convulsant properties.

If you look up the overdose side effects on all the opiates, Oxycodone is the only one that lists convulsions as one of the od side effects!

I had my body do a flip, too. Started getting sick on morphine and codeine and just didn't seem to like hydro.. But when I get a few oxy's, I'm still loving it!
