I have an interview for a newspaper on Friday. They want me to report on going to Europe for some kind of series. I'm gonna Gonzo all over their asses.
Mayhaps. I wonder if it'd be appropriate to ask... They're actually not sending me, I'm just going on my own, and I guess they figure they'll bank on it or something.
Do it, do it. Ahaha, I figure I'm bringing too much for a four day trip. I'm thinking about buying a drum or banjo... and perhaps some fungus. What a combination.
how did they find you're going to europe? is it normal for newspaper companies to ask a random person who's going to europe if they will write an article based on their expierences?
It wasn't that random...I mean, I came to them and was all, "Hey, it'd be really cool if I could write for a little bit for yous kids." And they told me they'd look into it. The question of Europe came up when they asked how often I'd be available this summer, as in when would I need off. It's not that sketchy, I promise.
