   The movie the Shining came out in 1980. My question is why were all the ghosts British? The bartender, the two creepy girls, the rotting corpse in the bathtub. The "Overlook Hotel" was in the Colorado Rocky Mountains. This was probably because the movie was shot at the EMI Elstree Studios in England. But that was never explained.
