Well, its been a month, believe it or not. I backcombed from the ear forward on the 12th of last month, and about from the ears back just left to do whatever. I am very impressed with the progress of the un-backcombed bits, you can see the sections they are forming. I wish I would have just let it do what it do instead of wasting my time backcombing, The progress is phenomenal in my opinion. The back bits are as knotted at the front bits, only curlier. Im loving it so far. looks good. that's how I did mine too, backcombed the front not back watch out though, I got some rowdy congos that have been really pulling on my scalp lately but there's no way to rip em apart anymore.
Yeah, I need to start on that rippin' business. I know a guy that just has left his alone for years, and they are growing into one. In a gross way..
Yes, I was looking at the picture, and I thought 'Damn! that is how Ive always wanted my hair to look!' I had unmanageable curly mess hair. That is why I turned to dreadlocks, because it is allowed to look like a mess.
I know ! I am liking that about my hair right now too- I used to hate how it would look soo messy pretty and natural wavy in the morn and then I would brush it and it would go flat and lifeless-sad. ..though the few wavy bits I have are starting to look more like weird loopy things.ah well.
At this hour in the morning, I can't think of anything to reply to this to say that I dig your comments besides "hey, I dig your comment" I guess 'lol' would work, but I've never been keen on acronyms.
