and i have verified their [potential] non scam status ...is it really necessary to purchase a few innocuos items from them to cover my [potential] research? surely its all obvious? [wink wink nudge nudge?]
any help from those in the know would be great [not expecting any sources just guidance on the procedure]
thanks for the reply..i have read alot of helpful information here.however when you dont know anything and have no local knowledgable community to access it is all mysterious... obviously its difficult to discuss these very interesting aspects of the research chem without crossing boundaries that should not be crossed....
i wondered the same thing. cuz the guide here might say that a legit source WILL offer innocuous chemicals for "normal" research institutions. none that i know of do. just the good stuff
no you definitely do not have to. 99% of vendors you find only sell psychoactive chemicals that have a market value... the whole "not for human consumption" thing is just a potential legal defense - they obviously know what you're buying the chems for.
i have seen some that sell only [potentially] psychoactive research chems and others that also stock many other types of chemicals that i would have no idea what they are for...if the guide here is anything to go by then i am going to stay clear of the suppliers without innocuous ones.. I SEE A HELL OF A LOT OF VERY SUSPICIOUS SCAM TYPE SITES THOUGH...hope the one i chose isnt a scam
Also wondering about this. Seems the (hopefully legit) sites that I have found don't offer anything but the stuff they are sure they can sell. Is that a good indicator that they are not a scam? Would these companies ship to a p.o. box? I read the guide someone posted here to ordering RC's and it said that they do not ship to po boxes, but it was written a while ago.
i only have a po box....they dont do street deliveries where i live....any answers to that vital question?
i believe there are vendors that ship to PO boxes. i don't believe whether or not they ship to PO boxes indicates if they are a scam or not.
I don't know which courier service you are using, or how shipments and deliveries are handled in South Africa ... But in my rural area, there is no local courier to handle the delivery. No UPS, Purolater, DHL, FedEx, Whatever. The courier handles the package as far as their nearest hub, it is then stamped and handed over the postal service, for final delivery to receiver, wherever that POB is... or the mail going to it is forwarded to. Hope you aren't the first to pioneer such activities; it can be difficult or time consuming to observe things work initially. Trying to not watch the tracking #s too closely, bother your postal outlet over your expected package... Once you, or someone nearby has done this or knows it operates functionally in this manner - I'd wager your large parcels will arrive in a prompt and timely manner as usual. If this whole letter could fit in an envelope, why not just have it stamped and dropped for delivery? I never understood some peoples preference for using couriers (exclusively). Here they are non-existent or extremely overpriced.
i would be using postal service i think...where i read that they wouldnt send to po box they made it seem pretty final... yeh i am alone in my search.....it probably is being done elsewhere in south africa but i have no knowledge of it.......so its up to me..very very frustrating...as this community is my only contact with the RC world...and nobody talks about anything except using these mysterious chemicals....nada sourcing [understandably- i dont want to blow my future suppliers either]
