Damn, and I thought I could drink. I think Mally may have me beat. I don't fuck with hard liquor these days. Craft beer and that's it.
In America I drank mostly Miller Lite and Coors Lite. I had a few tall can bud lite at the race tracks, but Miller seemed cheaper and readily available. Plus it was on the plane trip over and I didn't mind it.
Murphy's isn't bad. Better than Guinness anyway. But plenty of American breweries are now doing better stouts than the Irish.
Guinness or Geniuss is my number one beer of all time. Don't know what you're smokin' but I don't want none of that. On a side note if I had any income I'd probably be a drunk by now. It's only 11 AM & I already done poured myself some wine. Ahh well.
I used to like Guinness when it was the only stout I'd ever had. Now it just seems flavorless and dull in comparison to other stouts I've had. It's inexpensive though. I'll use it when I'm cooking bratwürst. I can get two quarts of it for like $6. EDIT: Autocorrect removed the umlaut. Seriously? Stupid American junk...
Up here Guinness is real expensive. Somewhere around $16 a six pack. Remind me to move to your state.
Really? The four packs of tallboys are like 8-9 bucks here, and the quart (I think...maybe they're 20-something oz bottles) bottles are somewhere between $2.50 and $3.00. Anyway, if all of that is accurate, Guinness is the only thing cheap here.
Could have been on sale last time I bought them too. It was Memorial Day weekend and I needed them for making brats Stores usually have alcohol sales during those long holiday weekends.
