would u concider a trade for 2 used digital video cameras. one is a jcv and the other is a sharp both are mini dv i dont know y u would want 2 video cameras if you are trying to give away one but i just thought id try i am always looking for new cameras to do my movies/show with. i just bought a 3,000 dollar video camera and i it fell off the tripod in to a river while shooting my last movie i have gone through so many and im looking fo a good camera for my show how much do u think would be a good offer for a video camera like that?
Hey hey, What are the models of the 2 digi's? I'd be open for trade... I actually have 2 of these bad boys, but I don't use them often so I figured I'd lose one of them. I'm moving soon and want to thin my herd a bit. I've acquired alot of shit somehow. Like I said in my original post, I had 8 of them and sold off 6 on eBay. If you want to get an idea of what they are going for, do an eBay search for AG-7450 . The VTR is the AG-7450, but someone is selling a couple of the cameras using the VTR model instead of the camera model right now. The auctions are up around $500 each now, but I'm not really looking for big cash for the cam. I made my money on the first 6 I sold so I figured I'd pass this guy on to someone who could use it more then I would. 2 of the 6 I sold to a TV station in Wisconsin. From what the guy told me they are using them for their regular broadcast cameras, or backups in case of emergency. This would be an ideal camera of you are making your own movies & such. And how the hell did your other camera fall in a friggin' river? Let me know the models of the cams you want to trade and maybe we can make a deal! and is there anywhere I can see the show you're making?
That's one fine piece of equipment you've got there. I sure would like to trade something or buy it.... but I'm homeless.
I'm curently in college taking broadcasting-TV, that camera doesn't seam to diffrent from the one i work on. I work on a DVCAM. Tell me what kind of tape format does the video tape recorder use (VTR). I'm hoping its not S-Vhs or betta. I use DVCPRO and DVCAM tapes, I'm assuming that the white balance and the gain controls are in working order??? All check with my professor, on wed, when i have single camera video class. All also check what he thinks the value and quality of the camera should be. Put me down as semi-intrested. All say its a quality camera, considering the fact it has 3 CCD's , as oppose to the traditional 1 CCD found in traditonal camcorders.
