Catching and eating your food is one thing, catching all the animals in one area and mass marketing them is another. If people just caught their own food we wouldn't be upsetting the balance of things.

And jesus christ prop19 is retarded, yeah like I want my boyfriend to go to jail for 6 months for sharing a bowl with me. Prop19 is much worse than the 100$ fine that we get now. And its losing :2thumbsup:

I am under 21, under prop19 it will still be illegal for me to smoke marijuana and if I am caught with my boyfriend he can go to jail for 6 months and be fined up to 1000$. Did you even read prop19?

I do not live in Cali, so I did not have much reason to.

I don't disagree with marijuana having an age limit, but I personally would prefer 18

Yep, apparently they're being forced to hibernate in there. "Humane" has got to be one of the stupidest most pointless words in the english language, just kill it and eat it. Don't try to rationalize it and make it in cute little packages that keep you from knowing the real truth.

I'm on the fence about this. On one hand, this doesn't seem any more cruel then the 20 lobsters they keep in one tiny tank at restaurants. I don't really think the crabs are suffering. On the other hand, I don't really like the idea of mass marketing a living being in the same way that a Hershey's bar is marketed.

But some breeds go dormant in low temperatures.
Not if she was in cryogenic temperatures.

Gross, but I don't consider crustaceans to be "animals"...they are arthropods, like krill and barnacles. The title implies that kittens or puppies are being stuffed into those plastic bubbles and sold out of a bubble gum machine...

I eat crabs and lobsters, so I guess it's not that big a deal to me. They said they sell 200 a day, so the crabs aren't in there for very long, and they are asleep.

I'm more concerned about the numbers...how long until the crabs are gone? At least when they were harder to get, less were eaten. How long do crabs take to get that size?
