okay, hello, Ive not been on this site in a long time buuttt..Im in East York Toronto, finding it very boring here in Toronto, it just seems to me that in order to have fun, you need to have money, which i do not have much of...It seems in my mind, most people go clubbing to relax themselves, something i cannot do because im 18 and people in clubs seem pretty fakey and materialistic generally...not really values i want to be surrounding myself with neccessarily...The only thing i have been doing really is sleep, get lost, bike to the beach and go to the lybrary ...So, people of T.O, what do you do for fun out here? will anyone rise to the occasion of being my friend? (ill pay you,.....not ) aand, do you think it is a wise decision to go to an alternative hischool here?...or should i just be running as far as i can from the city, back to the mountains of BC? i dont know, im trying to figure it out but i cant find an answer...any input at all would be great!!! have a wondrous day!
I'll be your friend *no no put your money away* welcome to Toronto! You know I'd actually love to run back to B.C. with you because I feel the same about the whole "club scene", I just smoke pot and play guitar. If you want to join me sometime youre more than welcome
im in ottawa but I go to toronto ever couple of months to see friends... um yeah we smoke weed and drink a bit listen to music play some ps2 smoke a bit more uhhmmm talk alot you know how it goes
don't need any money to have fun...at least I don't, which is a good thing since I'm broke I just wish there were more trees and not as many buildings around here. the whole club scene is total crap, at least in my opinion. I was never really into it, more of a nature type of guy myself. the BC mountains sound niiiiiiice, gotta visit sometime
I'm 15, right now we go to the ex alot, but most of the time we chill in Kensington, or in Riverdale park. =) It's okay jsut to sit around with friends, no one really has money all that they do have goes to pot. xD
I hate toronto, here in ottawa is alot smaller and cleaner. toronto is filled with posers, well i guess thats every city but toronto seems to have more.
what kind of things do you do for fun? if youre into movies, theres a great little theatre at bathurst and bloor, the bloor cinema, which is really cheap, and shows a wide variety of movies, from hollywood to indy
for me, with Toronto and BC theres advantages,disadvantages..Toronto itself is really ugly, no trees, as you say blueeyed son, just these big buildings and smog...Toronto also has really interesting culture festivals all the time, something you wouldnt find in BC...well, rural BC at least lol...I think as far as finding people who are not media trend following sheepies, its hard, you just gotta look in alternative places,ie not the clubs lol...it also seems to me theres a big activist community in toronto (am i wrong on this?)
thanks for being so welcoming, i think i will have to take you up on that sometime..although, i dont know how to play guitar, but you know i could just sit there and listen lol ....
i just might have to take you up on that offer too..yep yep...but i gotta say, i dont like ps2...i liked it when i was about 13, ever since havent really had contact with it ...this is a bit funny, im like commenting in my own thread a lot, but who said there were rules right?
ah yes, what is the ex? i biked by that the other day, going to tommys park or whatever it is...kensington market is cool! its like a mini nelson ...except actually proffessional drummers lol..well, actually the drummers in nelson are improving thanks to a certain someone....anyway,yeah, i love that pedestrian sunday thinger...i think its ending soon, i wouldnt know though.....
i went to this theatre, on college i think it was, i watched a really goood film about democracy and the coca plant in Bolivia...i will have to go to that one you mentioned, as i am noticing the word cheap lol......
and why is it filled with posers? whats with people? why are they so materialistic around here? (or thats what it looks like) its like the unsolvable mystery, i dont understand....i went to washington recently, and i noticed most people were into materialism (general term) but at least they could talk to me and be tolerant and look like they have a brain in there head....perhaps im being too judgemental, i dont know...
