oh noezz!

So next weekend I am going to my guy's city to visit him and meet his family (I've never met them before). So I'm really freakin out first off: because I have to drive kinda far and I'm afraid I'm gonna get lost haha and second: because I am so bad at meeting people and I'm gonna be so nervous and freakin out.

Anyways, me and him are texting and he goes "Everyone's getting together next weekend, we're throwin a cook out in your honor" So now his WHOLE family is gonna be throwin a cookout and I'm gonna pretty much be the center of attention haha. I'm so scared.

Lol, that's so awkward.I always feel awkward at my bf's family gatherings and such.His aunt and grandma are the queens of awkwardness :tongue: Are you guys dating?It sounds cute though, that they're throwing you one.

 

Aww haha! Ya I'm gonna feel really awkward. His family is kinda straight-edge and really religious and I'm the opposite haha. So I'm gonna have to pretend to be a good girl. Ha

 

haha im sure you'll be fine with the family...just hide that youre scarred and just try to have fun...ive been told that my family is pretty intimidating, especially when we are all together drinking lol but all my family does is make jokes about eachother and stuff like that so if you cant take a joke or wont joke around with us then it'd be hard to fit in lol...my ex was really shy so when she met my family and didnt really talk much they kind of ignored her but not on purpose

also, long drives are fun...if you use mapquest or something just reset your tripometer for each direction and the directions tell you how long to be on each road so you know when to look for turns and such

I am such a spaz when it comes to driving haha If I make one wrong turn I get all scared and start freakin out.

haha yeah my family takes a little getting used to but as long as you can drink and handle your alcohol they will like you...all my friends like my parents because they act like college kids lol. they just drink all day and then when they are getting ready to go to bed my dad always demands that he gets food or he isnt going anywhere

i am socially awkward, so in these big family situations thats what i do.

 

Ugh! I know.. and I asked him so many times why we aren't dating and he's like "Oh I dunno, I like you but I don't want a girlfriend yet".. But we pretty much act like a couple anyway.. He just doesn't want the label haha

 

is he messing around with other chicks and doesnt want to commit or is he just a weirdo lol...the dude must be crazy if he doesnt want to be with you haha

He told me that ever since we've been talking he hasn't hooked up with another girl (except his ex girlfriend that happened like the first 2 weeks we started talking) and stuff.. and plus he said he had a bad relationship with his ex and doesn't really want that to happen again with me.
