maybe you can screw him out of a feel-good ad campaign. celebrities gotta learn, everything and everyone is on the internet. i got to shake hands with Gary Sinise, he was very nice, but hes shorter than you think. so theres a permanent testimonial on the internet that gary sinise is an ok guy. and chris wright is forever a douchebag who stiffs the less fortunate. yay internet!

 

and then the press can question him about it "are the reports true that you stiffed a pizza delivery guy, you ungrateful bastard?"

He's in college. he's not getting paid, at least I hope. That would be bad morals on UD's part.

 

hes got spending money to order a pizza, and its not like he has to worry about his future finances. is he so bad at budgeting that he can't afford a tip, but he also can't bring himself to drive to get a pizza? delivery is an extra service. somebody has to drive your food to your lazy ass. sometimes its just convenient, but you are expected to pay for that convenience.
i grew up in restaurants, and it makes me want to strangle people who dont tip. you have to be a shitty server to not get tipped at my table, and it has happened, but people dont realize that thats a big chunk of income for people.

 

do you at least get a delivery fee from your work?

 

If you let it bother you that bad then you're headed for a heart attack. There's always gonna be nontippers and it doesn't do any good to get all worked up over it. you get those people that tip 6 and 7 bucks that makes up for it.

depends on method of payment. not this time I didnt. normally it's 5% of total sale.

 

i dont get that worked up over it, it gets lumped in with how pissed i am that society is as fucked up as it is. its a broad spectrum frustration, one more good reason to toke.

 

you really need to get high.

 

but it's definitely something to get mad about! When your waitress is getting paid 2.50 an hour, she relies on TIPS to pay her rent, to buy weed, to feed herself....

 

She seems to have got her priorities right.

No, if you see the customer again, put them on the back burner til your other tipping customers are taken care of. that's what I do. It's business. You'll have an opportunity to get even later. say they forgot their keys on the table. just say "nope i didnt see them"

 

$2.50 an hour????? Servers here get like $7-9ish + tips

Stiffing the pizza dude is just bad karma, always at least a buck and the change, speedy pizza dude gets 2 bucks and the change.

 

a couple of years ago it was $2.17/ hour. servers get voided paychecks, the checks dont cover their taxes, they have to report their tips and get taxed the rest out of that. and most people dont realize that the money you tip is the actual money that feeds them and keeps them clothed. keeps their kids fed you know?
