I tend to smell kind of bad a lot of the times. Even after a shower I can smell a certain odor on me and really always have it. Unless I try to mask it with deodorant, or cologne. Is it normal to have an odor or a certain smell about you?

I hate the fact that society brainwashes us to wear deoderant and to seperate ourselves from our natural smell. I hate deoderant because it makes me breakout and I heard that there is aluminum in it, which causes birth defects.

My boyfriend has a scent to him. It's not stinky....it's just his distinct scent that's always on his skin. He always smells that way. I quite like it.

drink more water around 2 litres a day. add a bit of peppermint to it every other day. get some colloidal silver and rub some onto your underarms after showering. stop using antiperspirants. reduce eating meat and milk.

even if you don't - it won't put people off sexually or otherwise - fuck em.At work everyone was gossiping about how this girl smelt - she was a natural soul - didn't use deoderant or shit - just bathed every day.I agree with them that she smelt really strong - but i have a really sensitive nose - that smell she gave was not bad - not stale or anythink - she just had incredibly high levels of hormones - turned me on to jackkery shit - i mean - gave me an erection - i could tell what floor she was on by her smell - so i'd often end up stopping at that floor.i did tell her though about what people said but i also told her that i thought it was great - cos i got to know her quite well - we had an attraction - she was slim pretty, and hair down to her ass - but she started wearing deoderant which i thought was a shame - i love natural stuff - on retrospect i shoudlve just carried on defending her like i had been doing and got her to marry me.

another girl i knew (very intimately) had her sweat glands removed years before i met her - but still sweated like a hog - but i say - it just turned me on - i lived with her 4 years - she was incredibly sexy - she used to lick my armpits - no joke!

i dont wear any chemicals , and never really have. i didnt really ever have an odor, until i was about 25 i started doing deoderent studies for some xtra cash. did you know an antiperspirent can stay in your system 30 days after you use it. so for the study you could not have worn any 31 days prior. now after those studies i can notice an oder about me which causes me to bath a little more. a natural scent is a little more sexy in the heat of things. but to much odor could be a problem sometimes i worry that i smell bad, then i tell myself fuck it they just have to live with me that way. my wife doesnt ever mind or tell me i need to shower, so i just go on with it.

Some people don't like to smell sweat. It isn't exactly the most pleasent smell. Personally, I find it pretty disgusting when people don't ever use deoderant, or other products.

My man doesnt really ever wear deodorant. He works hard and tends to sweat a lot and doesnt usually smell as long as he takes a bath everday LOL. I tend to like the natural smell of him.....hehehe. Its true that a lot of deodorants have aluminum in them my brother, my mother and I have to watch what we wear bc of it. My mom is extremely allergic to alluminum so she doesnt even wear deodorant. I have boughten a deodorant crystal from an all natural store and that works great. Whateva though. As long u dont stink up the whole room bc bad odor tends to gross me out. I am sure if it was that bad u would be gettin dirty looks or somethin. Maybe ur just selfconscious.........Just a thought

Mineral Crystal Deodoant ROCKS!!!! Besides keeping order in check the stick itself lasts far longer than regular deodorant. I've had mine for over a year and its only half the original size.

When I am home and in my daily life, i dont wear deoderant. When I am at work on boats i do because its the mainstream world... and when in Rome...

Also anti-persperants contain aluminum, deoderants don't. I use a deoderant that isnt and anto-persperant. Aluminum has also been linked to Alzheimers Disease and in many countrys you cant even by aluminum cooking pans.

As to offending others when i am home? Fuck em. I shower everyday, if my smell "offends them" then they can just haul ass to the next table. I find old ladies who wear too much perfume gross, but I know well enough to keep my mouth shut in public.

Also if it helps, teenagers are stinkier than men... my boy is eleven and he is deleoping that teen funk, so just keep clean, hang on and it will get better.

Also I would add the list of things to avoid sugars (makes yeast).

we all have our own unique smell. Think about how a dog can sniff someones shirt or something and then go track the person.

Strong spices in your diet will also effect your body odor. Aliums (onions, garlic, chives, etc) do this a lot. Also cumin, coriander, tumeric, stuff like that. I love dating women who eat a lot of indian food! Because really it makes them smell and taste delicious, including their genitals. Chili peppers will make you smell like chili. The list goes on.

What is your diet like, anyway?

My ex couldn't wear anti-perspirants/deoderants because he has super sensitive skin. He uses that shower to shower powder stuff to absorb the wetness. He had a little smell to him but usually just towards the end of the day-and it wasn't a bad smell. Just a musky manly smell...
