River Forest,Lake Dorr,Buck Lake,Clearwarter Lake,Wildcat Lake,Salt Springs,Fore Lake,Juniper Springs,Lake Eaton,Mill Dam, or stop for a refreshing dip in Hidden Pond,Set up camp along the breezy edge of Hopkins Prairie. The 8-mile section through the Juniper Prairie Wilderness is one of the most beautiful and secluded pieces of the Florida National Scenic Trail.Birders can look and listen for the chatter of Florida scrub-jays and the calls of rufous-sided towhees.

thats been the case some years, last year was totaly beautiful
and no matter what even at ots worse, the rainbow spirit was there if u looked beyond the agro kids
i have high hopes this years wil be even better then last years and will get back to the way it was back a few years
tryin to scare off kids goin for the rainbow experience just scares off everyone whod make it a good gathering and ensures only agro a-camp dare set foot in such a horrible place :rolleyes5

srry we're goin and we'll make it the best gatherin we can ;)

There's a whole lot of people who shwagg on Ocala. For years I heard bad stories and people warning others to stay away from Ocala, but I also heard good stuff from time to time. Last spring I decided to see for myself and went to Ocala '06. I went there with an open mind but, I have to admit, the Ocala reputation made me a bit cautious. I was there for about ten days and from the time I got there until the time I left, everything was awesome. I saw some old friends, made some new friends, hauled a lot of water, chopped a lot of wood, and ate many zuzu's.
As far as I know, Ocala is cool. It was fun as hell last spring, anyway. It was one of the nicest gatherings I've been to in a while, really.

damn it! I'll be in school. well have fun! Pete, why don't you fly down to FL? it's cheaper that way because you'll pay more in gas alone.

Doesnt it suck, having to go to school? Haha, I know the feeling... Usually, ocalla is a gathering I miss, because all my life, all the bad rainbow stories Ive heard start with, "This one time, in Ocalla"... So, personally, I wont go. Florida scares me. But with the bad comes the good as well, I know many brothers and sisters who have had no problems there. My words of wisdom are just, be careful family.
