Greetings Hooman's, Hippie's & the Curious (We see ya) ....... Report from Shanty Pond today is LOTS of Folks are checking in there. Black Jack & Silver acting as an "unofficial" Info to ALL Folks. I saw Wilbur and son & Kind folk I missed (No ZEKE yet). The mention of setting up an "Official" seed camp gets the normal "This place is Fine" to "We're close to the beer here" making Shanty a divided "A" Camp side and "Blissful Loving" side. People/Kids there as well as tourists. Camping spots are now marked off and a KING OF CAMPGROUND Attendant w/a short fuse. People (Not Family) getting hassled and suppossed to report him to Ranger Office. Folks waiting for the Hunting to end and to be CLEAR. After Hunting Season YOU WILL SEE LOCALS IN WOODS GATHERING THEIR LOST DOGS. They ARE NOT HUNTING....THEY WILL NOT SHOOT YOU. ALL is good and Lots will be Seeding it after Hunting season North of Salt Springs (old Site) or South of 40 (2 old Sites). This was all from the land & those upon it. Hope it helps. PR
my first one was this last summer in VT and i was the 7th person to show up a week before it got going. are you saying that folks can start heading to seed camp or atleast find another camp? when is the "official" date of the gathering?
