i just got obscured by clouds by Pink Floyd from my library, and its much better than inticipated. I expected some mid eigthies shit like A Momentary Lapse of Reason. What I found was a great early seventies album that i bet many people never knew existed.

uh yeah, Ive been saying this for years.

and why would you compare it to momentary lapse of reason?? and why would you expect that?? it was in between meddle and dark side of the moon, youd think it would be similair to either of those..... why on earth would you think that it would be like momentary lapse of reason?? that just strikes me odd.

and yes it is underrated. a definite gem. one of my faves. has to be at least in my top 5. I know nick mason and storm thorgerson both admitted that OBC was their favourite. no one really gives it the credit it deserves.

and yes, most people have heard of obscured by clouds, except for those around your age who only know the FM classic hits of dark side of the moon, wish you were here and the wall.

I love Obscured By Clouds...(or as we call it, the pre-Dark Side Dark Side)

Great instrumental work, great guitar work, and a real sign of things to come with Floyd's 70's albums.

My personal favorite track is Childhood's End.

I only compared it to momentary lapse of reason because i had no idea what year it was from.

and its both stupid and incorrect to stereotype me because im 15, I have (i think) every album released by Pink Floyd. In addition, what i meant was you never/rarely hear anything about, or anything from OBC.

I think it's one of their more uneventful and uninspiring albums. The songs are for the most part decent, but very average.

I knew you would put your 2 cents in, matty.

you can blast it all you want, but I still think its one of their best.

did I stereotype you?? I said people around your age. which is true. most of them only have heard comfortably numb, money, wish you were here, and another brick in the wall
