China has been pursueing high economic development rates at the expense of NATURE! I have barely seen a clear river through my 21 yeas life in China. I think the U.S. could spare some money from the Iraq war to help China with protecting the nature. Environmental problem is a global issue, and hence the developed countries should help the developing ones.
So many countries are exploiting China. Such as the UK to help getrid of waste computer components, which we can't dispose of. So we send them to China, they melt them down and dispose of the waste in rivers such as the Yangtze. This then causes millions of people who survive by living off the river to become seriously ill... there are many villages bordering the Yangtze that are known as "Cancer villages" because the people have consumed the river water full of extremely toxic nasties.
superlz . i think u r a chinese . China is so complicated country with its special position in the world , first of all , its long time history --5ooo yrs and those old traditions etc ... I dont know what i shoud say about my coutnry 's development fast growing is doing right or bad side. cuz things always have bad and good side which we cant aviod it . and this country with the largest population in the world , without growing faster development , i dont know how our govt ganna ' feed' so many ppl ..
