don't palmroll man,,, nonono it can smooth them out instead of letting them knot up. and why are you spraying with lemons, you wanna go blonde? I'd just leaveeee them till the first wash. and do it with baking soda or just water :)
they look good though and will look amazing if you just leave them

    hi luxiebow :D
i googl'd and many said that lemon can dry the hair n it helps them to get knot faster..

n by palmrolling, it will maintain them in shape and reduce the stray hairs.

    isnt it? tq luxie :)

Looking good so far, I palm roll once a month after a shower to get mine round. I don't think it has stopped the knotting at all. Thats just my experience.. Good luck on your journey..

but I wouldn't suggest palm rolling every day or even every week though..

yeah, palmrolling can work every now and again but don't do it regularly. i did that with my first set that i backcombed, and it makes the roots really week and can pull out hairs. i had a dread fall off o.o

Very good looking if I must say so myself. I'm not dreaded *yet, still going over it* but my bf is and we've talked about it a few times, so I'm still thinking...but yours look really nice on you!

If you are going for salon lookin dreads than yeah they look good! I dont mean any offense by that either...to each their own. :) Just leave em be for about a year...dont palm roll till you have actual knots....I didnt palm roll for the first year or so...now I do about once a week after I wash them to help them shape up....my dreadies are kinda bulbous at the tips! But seriously....minimize what you do to your hair for the first year cuz it'll only hinder the natural dready process!

its day 4 and ive startg to hv flakes and itchyness to the max.
so i dcided to wash it off today!

i use baking powder+lemon+salt on the first rinse.

and Bragg acv on the 2nd rinse.

it feels soooo goood and clean! now my hair is really hard n dry.

so basicaly ths is day 4,after wash.
stray hairs are all around. and the tips are startg to open up a bit.
    should i crochet them back?
