My cousin has known that I've wanted to try Salvia for a while, so she got me some for the holidays and we did it together. The first night, we went down to a park near my grandparent's house (where we were staying) and smoked a big bowl of nice weed, which got us both pretty stoned, then we decided to try the Salvia. I honestly can barely remember a thing after that point...only tiny snippets, and I remember laughing so hard the whole time that I don't even know if my eyes were opened or closed. I can't even remember my cousin being there, until we decided to load a decent-sized bowl and pass it between us until it was gone. I took my hit, the same thing happened. It's like I knew exactly where I was, things seemed the same, only I felt very different. When I was done laughing, I barely had enough control or will to finish off the bowl, so we just sat there till the after effects wore off a bit, then walked back to the house. I remember while we were walking back I was sort of light-headed and felt weird in general. I saw this odd blinking light through the trees that I said looked sort of like a flying saucer. Though it did look like one, I was only kidding, then my cousin noticed it and she freaked out and thought she was seeing them everywhere...? I realize how stupid I was that night, irresponsible to just keep loading the bowl. Won't be doing that again... I do feel though, that if I wasn't stoned, I wouldn't have smoked that much Salvia. So the next night, we wanted to try it again, this time sober. We were going to go down to the park again, but it was freezing outside and we decided to do it in the basement bathroom at the house. My mom, aunt, and their old high school friend were upstairs talking and knew we went off to do something, but thought we were only going to smoke some weed. This again, I've realized, was a horribly stupid idea...So I take my hit while standing and a few seconds later I feel dizzy and like I need to sit down, so I do so on the floor. The wallpaper in there has a bunch of orange and green lines, and I notced they almost were jiggling/waving, and I went into my fits of laughter again. It was wearing off a bit for me, and my cousin was about to do her's, when we hear the door to the basement open. I get scared, try to hide in the bathroom, and my mom, aunt, and their friend walk in. They start acting really weird, asking so many questioins, trying to mess with us...they think we're only high, until my aunt looks at my eyes and says they're huge. They take the Salvia from us and go into the bathroom and try it 'to see what their daughters are getting into'. I was in a bad mood, they really walked in at the wrong time. The came out an hour later and told us to never do it again. My aunt said it was unpleasant, my mom just didn't want me to do it. I know that both times I was irresponsible, but before I do any drug I research it a lot to know what I'm in for...my mom and aunt had no idea what would happen, were acting careless, and I thought they were irresponsible. Overall, I thought it was an ok experience. I just wish I could remember it better. One thing I've definitely learned is to never try anything new at my grandparent's house I have a little left, so if an appropriate time comes around, I'll do it again.
oh my god. that would have freaked me out so bad, i would've cried. i never do salvia unless i KNOW there's no chance of anyone bugging me. god. that sounds terrible. ahhh now i'm freaked out just thinking about it x____x. did your mom and aunt go in and smoke it themselves? if they did that's really... silly of them.
hah hah hah, I hope you didn't believe that lie. They tried it for the same reason anybody else tries drugs. I know somebody whose Mom walked in on him and his friends when they had Acid on the table, she took a hit and claimed it was "so I could see what he was getting into." Nobody beleived her. she took it because she wanted to trip! ...at least she didn't steal his stash. How much have you read about Salvia? It's not considered a party drug, not the best way to get high. it's an introspective drug. people who take it looking for a high often have unpleasant experiences.
Yeah, they did. I could hear them laughing in the bathroom and my aunt kept saying 'wow!' It made me really mad that they came in, really mad, but at least they didn't see me during the full effects. That's when I would've cried :uhoh2: Pepopstico- The next day they told us they were just caught up in the moment. In a sense I think they did want to know what we were getting into, but I agree, they mostly just wanted to try it for themselves. And I've read a lot about Salvia. I wasn't looking for a way to get high, I wanted a spiritual experience, I just should've thought twice about where I was doing it and what problems might occur there. Like I said, I'd like to try it again when the time is right and I have nothing to worry about.
you really can't know until after you've done it. i remember before i did it, i was like "ha, it seriously can't be THAT intense!" you can have god screaming at you that you've commited the unforgiveable sin as you turn into a cabinet...
yeah i totally agree with prismatism, you'll never know until you do it. i don't think there are enough people out there that know enough about to give you some good reliable insight into it. i just thought i was going to see pretty colors the first time. i smoked 20x and well i turned into a supermarket shelf and i thought my friends were trying to put bread in me...fucking intense.
I definitely agree with that...but I think any health hazards or preparatory advice to read up on is a good idea. I like to read people's own experiences mostly before I do anything new, I don't limit myself to that and believe that's what'll happen to me, but it helps me to get an idea and not be afraid when something I wasn't expecting happens.
