I'm gonna do it. After a couple years of thinking about it, I finally went to the local esthetics shop, asked a bunch of questions, and made my appt for friday at 4:30. Getting my nose piercing...wooooohoooooooo. This is freaky for me....I would have never done something like this, always worried about what other people wanted me to do, and I'm finally starting to say to hell with them and doing stuff I want to do for me. Can't wait till friday.
Good for you . I'm getting my nose pierced as soon as I leave the house. My parents have a hard time accepting body art, and I respect that as long as I'm under their roof the least I can do it respect most of their guidelines. I've always considered a simple hoop in the nose the most beautiful facial piercing on women. It's just so... tasteful... to me. For me, I'm going to have to be in a good place in my life to finally go through with getting a tree tattoo to signify my need to give unconditionally to others. I've thought about it for a while now; like you have with your nose piercing. Hope it turns out beautifully for you! I trust you're getting it done with a needle and not a gun? Tell me how it goes; I'm honestly curious!
nose piercings are beautiful on women...I think the stud is cuter but thats me... *hugs* for doing what you want and not caring what others think
I'm going for a stud, and where it is going to be on my nose I was told it can be done with a gun. It is a special design nose piercing gun so everythings good.
please don't pierce your nose with a gun. Google it for tons of info http://wiki.bmezine.com/index.php/Piercing_Gun please read through some of the recent posts about this exact subject http://www.hipforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=226155 http://www.hipforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=217319
Oh my... Stay away from anyone wielding a piercing gun. The piercing gun just isn't practical... Despite it's design intent. Yipes...
My older sister and I just got our noses pierced on March 3rd. I love it. It really only hurt the first day. By the second day I barely knew it was there. It was tender when I cleaned it, but otherwise all was good.
I'm thinking about getting mine done too. I am a chicken when it comes to pain though. I'm afraid that it's going to hurt really bad...but I have had 2 labret piercings and a monroe.
The only thing that surprised me when I had my nose pierced was how much my eyes were watering! I don't know why I hadn't realised that this would happen, but it was really funny to come out of the little room with tears streaming down my face - I think I may have scared a couple of younger girls waiting! I would be dubious about getting it done with a gun though - needle was quick and only mildly uncomfortable really. I think a piercing gun might have made me a little more apprehensive. But YAY for you!
My eyes watered a lot when I had my nose done, all those years ago 11 years in November! I never notice it anymore. I can leave it out for months and put it in with ease. I love it.
Hah, my eyes watered so bad when I pierced mine it was nuts. And I kept sneezing. SNEEZING. With a rather large needle sticking out of my face. It was comical.
