nightwish are good, i have oceanborn, wishmaster, century child and once and must say i prefer the older stuff. favourite song on once is the siren that's class, but they sacked tarja coz of her dissasociation with the band outside of rehearsals and concerts - and also because of her diva-like personality, thinking she was better than everyone in the band (or at least that's the impression she gave") - nightwish will never be the same, maybe it's time for a change in their sound though.

i doubt the music will change, the singing will though. toumas should sing coz he's proved he can.
of course i've heard nemo, it went mainstream. that's where they FUCKED up. i hate stuff that makes it onto kerrang and other brand-video channels. anything that makes it onto the telly is no longer underground metal but commercial which then gets over-played, over-rated and SPOILT.

on another note, nemo isn't even real nightwish if you're a fan of their back catalog. it's FAR too poppy. no wonder it went mainstream.

Man, they never were underground metal. And it doesn't matter a thing.

dude i wrote my piece in preference so of course it matters to me. it may not matter to you but then again you may be into overplayed commercial metal. and before they made it onto kerrang and brought their shit mainstream, much less people knew about them. underground may be the wrong word, but they were nowher enear as popular as they are now.

Nope, I don't like overplayed commercial metal. But I don't drop a bands music after it appeared on tv.
Anyway, only Angels fall first can interest me of Nightwish. Not of the commercial thing, because that album is quite easy to get into as well, but after that album their sound just didn't do a thing for me anymore. Elfenpath is probably my fav song of them.

Nightwish rules, I bought their Once album off of one of my friends, now I have their entire discography on my computer.
