Okay, there are lots of great and wonderfull bands out there. There are always new or old things to (re)discover. Do you know what I mean? If you do, what was your latest 'musical discovery'??
I've discovered a band called Santana, and WHOW, they are so good. Especcially that cover they made of Black Magic Woman. Dear lord, how fantastic!! I haven't heard mutch of them, but I'm already addicted.

Wow you found Santana!! brilliant! they're awesome! [IMG] [IMG]
My GREATEST musical discovery was when i found King Crimson and they quickly became my favourite ever band... [IMG] they are fantastic... I heard a clip of 21st Century Schizoid Man and spent about 4 months chasing it up until i found the whole thing, then i just got everything i could find!

My most recent musical discovery was Radiohead. I knew about them vaguely, but had never, ever listened to them, i can't believe that now, they are such an amazing influential group. I LOVE Wolf at the Door from Hail to the Thief, and Fake Plastic Trees from The Bends.
    WOWOOW!!! [IMG]

Oh, my favourite Santana song is She's not there. that just Rocks!![IMG]

I don't really know what's my newest discovery, I keep discovering new stuff all the time! I guess that it might be The Mahavishnu Orchestra... a great band a love them so much, I guess I'll start a thread about them!

I recently "discovered" Ravi Shankar. I already knew of him, but I just started listening to his music. I have to say, it's really great... if you like instrumentals. George Harrison said that Ravi Shankar is the godfather of music.

I recently discovered an electronic artist called KiloWatts, less recently I 'discovered' Death Cab for Cutie, which I had heard of, but never really listened to their music, but now that I did, I can't regret it, they're damn awesome, and also Modest Mouse, Nightwish, and other electronic dudes, Vanek and Orphax.

yeah, Radiohead is my most recent musical discovery also. i had heard some of their stuff, and kind of liked it, but i never really "listened" to them before. now i cant stop. Radiohead is seriously one the my favorite bands ever. Hail to the Thief is my favorite album i think. Idioteque and High and Dry are two of my favorite Radiohead songs.

But, by newest you didn't mean a recent band did you? Cause The Mahavisnu Orchestra are definitely not recent!

I guess my newest musical discovery was Sublime. I saved two of their albums on my computer, and they're quite great - unfortunately, I haven't listened to them in awhile because I've been listening to some many other albums.

I've known THe Mahavishnu Orchestra before and yes they're quite good. :)

My newest musical discovery, which I'm more than glad that I discovered is Indie (rock and pop).
It's really good in my opinion. :)
I like indie pop even more than I like indie rock.
(stuff like Bishop Allen, The Unicorns,...)

    Love,
    Borut
