In every relationship I have been in I have talked less than the guy sometimes to the point of it causing arguments. I don't mind it. But yeah...most guys I know talk mor than most girls I know, but I don't like the chatty talk and talk and talk annoying type of girls as friends anyway

 

If someone is talking a lot but its interesting, funny, or I can learn from it, I like to hear it and would never think they need to shut the hell up. What can annoy me though is when someone explains in great detail the most self explanatory simple shit. Especially if they are wrong or just inarticulate about it. Like when someone starts explaining to me how some part they want to make their car faster works, completely ignoring or forgetting the fact I was an auto tech for years and can build cars in my sleep.

I think the reason men think women talk too much and vice versa is because the men cant relate to some of what the woman is saying, so they dont really listen which makes it seem boring and excessive.

 

Also, more intelligent people tend to have a larger vocabulary and speak with more complex sentence structure....so........

 

"More intelligent" people are the ones that value silence.

People who are intelligent but cannot or do not attain at least a tad of wisdom are a waste of good brains.

Guys talk alot yeah yeah yeah. Girls talk alot yeah yeah yeah, yeah. All i got from this topic is someone who has something against guys. We all talk alot when we have someone to say. I wonder if typing words counts the same as talking. A lot of times, 5:00 will roll around and I will realize that I have typed over 1000 words, but I haven't verbally spoken yet that day.

 

Well, there ya go. I know both very chatty women and very chatty guys, so I've never thought women to be more so then men.
