uh, I meant "High".....not shy. Just kidding. Hello all. Not really shy at all. I'm Irish American and gypsy, a bit of Scot...so that would make me a mutt, I guess. Red hair, green eyes and have the irish temper......when provoked. Otherwise I'm pretty mellow. Old stoner but don't smoke anything but cigarettes anymore. My daughter (age 22) would love your "Dreads" and "Rasta" avatars. She's a big Bob Marley fan....and a stoner herself, has "One Love" tatooed on her back. My son, (age 33) is a trainer in Gold's Gym right now, went to Iraq, came back whole, thank goodness.........and has my beautiful grandaughter. Her name is Marlie. lol I have a chihuahua named Munchies.........He was supposed to be a teacup, so I named him "Munchkin"....but he turned into a teapot...weighs about 20 pounds....so now he's Munchies. And that's me and my family.
Gypsy? Do you have any powers? Please take this curse off of me. Please. Whatever I did, I'm sure I've paid for it by now, and I'm sorry I did it. Thanks in advance for your help! Oh, and welcome to Hip Forums!
Thanks for the warm welcome. Sorry I didn't answer sooner. I thought I had it fixed where it would send me an email automatically when someone posted but I must've done something wrong. Anyways......I have two types of gypsy blood in my family....Irish gypsy.....they were mostly travelers, entertainers, story tellers, dancers, etc way back in the dark ages. And then one of my great great grandfathers married a Rom.......so we have a bit of both in my family. As for taking off curses....lol.....I'm probably better at putting curses on people....when I loose my temper, that is. And when I do that.....which is very rare, but it does happen..........my family swears I look like the Devil Herself. Like my ancestors, I do love to party and dance.
Hi Debi ... welcome to the forum. What part of Texas you baking, err, I mean living in? Sounds like you raised a coupla good kids, glad to hear your son made it back OK. If you like to party and dance, you're in the right place. There's something here for everyone.
I'm "baking" in Schertz, Texas...lol....and baking is a good word for it. For those that have never heard of Schertz, it's not far from San Antonio. I've been to Dallas, Fort Worth, Paris, Killeen, Copperas Cove, Waco, Houston, Galveston, Corpus, Big Springs, Lubbock, Wichita Falls, and a dozen or more other places here in Texas. I've been here since before my son was born so that makes me a real Texan, I guess.....but my dad was military....so I was a military brat.....been to many places. Seems like a really great forum.
I.ve been to Dallas..Fort Worth and Wichita Falls its 45F here right now..kinda weird ..its not normally this cold in the summer welcome to HipForums
It's been in the 100's here recently but actually says it's only 79 degrees right now....but you know Texas. It can be burning hot one minute and the next we get a blue northern......and are freezing to death.
yep, what part of texas? im in central texas and its a pretty dry heat, but when i lived in east texas, it was horribly humid. im not sure which i prefer.
I think DRY HEAT would not feel so bad.... (100º wouldnt feel quite so bad w/no humidity i dont think)
