If i look deep in your eyes
I see your dark and stormy skies
The sea won't let you go

Sweet cinnamon, now burns and stings
I wonder why the church bell rings
    Defiant cries scream 'no'

You fight for truth and think you're strong
I tell you now that you are wrong
I don't mean to make you cry

I ask you 'how did all this start'
You glare at me with fiery heart
    Can your will never die

    Why wallow in your ignorance
Can you see no sign of this
    Atop your throne of sand

I know where all the laughters gone
It's fallen to the mayrters song
Please won't you take my hand

I want to heal your broken core
I want to feel your breath once more
Why do you want to fight

I must leave now I have no choice
Though my soul screams for your voice
I hope you find the light
    ~Marine

I know the rhyme scheme is slightly jacked up, but i would love to hear comments

i thought it was awesome. it has kind of a wierd feeling to it, in a good way. the ryming scheme isn't important, its what you're getting across that matters. it was great.
