ive been there a dozen time or so... surroundings are absolutely beautiful... check out the pictures on there site if you havent www.nlqp.com

ive had some friends have bad experiences with some of the staff before though.... unmarked workers comming up and taking peoples stash... they tried to kick us out last yr. for being too loud and with much pleading they allowed us to stay.... but i love the place...

it is clean and safe. it is also dirty and dangerous. if your there with your friends or family, children, etc . . . its very friendly, good music, good people, great swimming, beautiful camping. if your there to get blissed out of your mind from random strangers and stumble around the woods with your girlfriends . .. then i doubt there is much i can say to keep you out of trouble.
its a bit decieving because it is so beatiful and ideal, that you can get into a false sense of security, and end up with the wrong people. sorry but its the truth.
that being said, i love it there, but i dont party too hard and i grew up around there so i know everyone and who to stay away from. what he said about the staff is true, they used to steal kids drugs then go out and sell them, but as long as you arent selling drugs, or advertising that your selling them, then that wont happen with you.
