Robert Johnson, Son house, lightnin hopkins, Muddy Waters, Canned heat and John lee Hooker.

    Give em all a listen.

Robert johnson and son house play delta, which is authentico blues music. Canned heat is more of rock blues mix heavy on the blues, they were really good back in the day. Alan Wilson was their guitarist and harmonica player, and often times vocals as well, and he was to music what Jimi hendrix was to guitar.

    Buddy Guy
    Stevie Ray Vaughn

    kenny Wayne shepard
    Allman Brothers
    Jimi Hendrix: Blues album
    Bonnie Raitt
    Muddy Waters
    Eric Clapton
    Albert King

A few of those stray from strictly blues but they all have good blues material.

Koko Taylor, the "Queen of the Blues", is pretty damn good and it's nice to hear a female voice singing the blues from time to time. I'd seen her perform live twice back in the eighties and she was amazing.
