I know I've mentioned this before, but now we're REALLY in a pickle.

    13yo DS is currently 5'6"
His inseam is 32" but his waist is only 25.5"
His chest is 28" wide, his sleeve-length is 33" long, and his neck is only 11"
and as of TODAY he wears a size 7.5 (mens) in shoes.

He is wearing 16S pants with adjustable-waists AND a belt right now, but a few of these are too short already so we're needing to find the next size up for him. The problem is that with his skinny waist, I can't find men's pants to fit & 18S is nearly impossible to find & DOESN'T come with adjustable waist. Does anyone have a really REALLY skinny husband? Where do I find pants that will be long enough, with a waist that SMALL?

Also... because his arms are so long he now wears a men's medium in long-sleeve shirts - but I could fit two of him in there width-ways. Has anyone heard of a slimfit SHIRT shop? For short-sleeves he's still getting by in longer 14 & 16 boys shirts, but it's only a matter of time before his torso is too long for that too.

Any suggestions? At all? And yeah, I really do feed the boy - 5 meals a day most days, his metabolism is just that fast.
    love,
    mom

I have a friend on another forum (myspace me for the URL) whose DS is skinny skinny and lanky. One of her DD is the same way. She's a sewing momma, and makes some awesome clothing for her kiddos.

I know she makes skater shorts, hoodies, and other age-appropriate articles for her DS if you wanna look her up. Possibly trade or just place an order. :)

Hmmm, I hadn't thought of going that direction with him. I sew, I just don't mess with waistbands on pants very often. I'll have to see if he'd wear that - he's kind of the flannel-shirt & jeans type ;)

I'll definitely send you a query - pics will definitely help my lil beanpole! Thanks!!!
    love,
    mom
