ive had my haze growing for about 7 weeks now, but i dont know when to start 12/12...........please help! Can somebody explain to me about 12/12 i have little knowledge on it, cheers peeps
You want to wait until the plant reaches sexual maturity, usually at 4 to 6 weeks old. Sexual maturity is indicated by: -alternating nodes (branches) and/or -preflowers. Alternating nodes is when the branches growing from the stem aren't exactly opposite each other. Like a branch one 1 side of the main stem, then an inch or 2 of main stem before a branch on the opposite side grows. Preflowers appear at the nodes. Males and females make slightly different preflowers. These can be used to determine sex (allowing you to toss the males) but it's not foolproof. Better to wait until the males grow balls (within 2 weeks of 12/12), then dispose of 'em.
