Okay, so I recently found out that a guy friend of mine from the open mic I go to likes me, and he asked me out to a movie a few nights ago. He's a nice guy, long hair, smokes weed, plays guitar, intelligent, I've never really thought of it that way but I'm willing to give it a try. But thing is, I'm 17 and he's 24. Is that too much of an age difference? I HIGHLY doubt we'll be having sex anytime soon, but just to date? Any advice?
This guy sounds really nice, and I don't think that's too much of an age difference at all. Just go out on a date with him and see how it goes.. What do you have to lose? If it doesn't work out, oh well. Good luck!
unfortunately, you could cost him his freedom and statutory rape goes on some sexual offender registries. Tell him you'll go out with him on your 18th b-day. He does know your age, right?
