necklace swap?

are there people interessted in a necklace swap?

I am also in another forum (only concerning lampwork) and there, people have swaps regularly. First everyone posts pictures of their goodies within a deadline, then the organizer sort of makes a lottery, to find out who's going to send his/her item to whom. The receiving one doesn't know from whom he/she got his item until they hold it in their hands.

So I want to do something like this on hipforums, with homemade necklaces.

I would say, that not more then 15 people should participate, to keep it kinda small. You should be willing to pay shipping fees that might go into other countries (for example, I myself don't live in the US). You should be willing to put a lot of effort into your work. It doesn't matter what material you are using, but work with love, because everyone else will too...
And you should be a regular poster to this forum, I would say, no less then 100 Posts, to bring some trust into the thing.

Ok, so you sign up, by saying that you want to participate, and sending me your adress. (which, of course only goes to the one, sending the necklace to you) then you make your necklace, take a picture of it, and post it by, let's say November, 20. On that day, I will raffle out which piece goes to whom, give the adresses to the appropriate people, then people mail their stuff.

my only concern is how much is shipping to another country?

find out, but it's not the world. I think on ebay, people that charge 2 or 3 $ for within the US charge 5 $ for europe. If you're lucky, you don't even have to send yours to other countries.
