Today I felt sick for no reason. like I had the flu but it's not. I had this happen 2 other days within the last 6 weeks. Anti- nausea ( perscription med like Dramamine doesn't work, they even helped my mom who gets nausea for no reason. Also for the last 3 years I would get nausous and would throw up for a week twice a year. I would wake up fine but would be sick worse as the day went by. I thought it was allergies but my doctor said no. I had to miss work because I was sick today and I have a new job and I don't need to get sick all the time. When I'm nausous and throwing up I feel horrible and have to go to bed, and meds don't work. This is really bothersome and I'm worried about it. But it seems like I can do nothing, so if anyone has any suggestions please post them.

Hmm, it could be a number of things. You should probably go see a GI doctor. I have the same problem (as a symptom of IBS for me) and I found Donnatal helped me a little, as well as Zofran. However, both of these meds are a little strong, so I decided I didn't want to take them. I find that my nausea gets a lot worse during the summer. The ONLY thing I can find to truly help me is peppermint oil. If you can't find any, peppermint altoids are good too, since they have the oil in them. Your problem may also be related to stress or anxiety. A medication like Zoloft may help you.

    Good luck to you,

If perscription meds don't do the trick, perhaps a herbal treatment like peppermint would. Give some tea's a whirl, Bergamot is also good for nausea. There's always fresh ginger which you could add to all kinds of meals if the teas aren't too pleasant.

If the sickness comes on quick the peppermint might be better as it works on equalising gastric pressure and on ya sphincters. Ginger's more about increasing digestive fluids, absorbing and neutralising toxins and sort of toning the bowels.

Anyway, hopefully one of the three will help a bit!

Sounds like a migraine. Even if you don't have any head pain, you can still get all the symptoms of migraine, including nausea, vomiting, fuzziness, fatigue, numbness, flashing lights or just the nausea alone.

Please see a neurologist and they can do a lot to help you.
