Natural Dreads, just popping by to say hello, and update ya'll!!

Oreet everyone hope everyone keeping it sweet!!!

Well i've ended up back here and thought i'd let you all see how i've been getting on.

Well its almost 2 years, can't believe its been that long!!!

My dreads are completely au natural, apart from washing my hair which i'm currently doing once a month.

but are you serious? once a month you wash your hair? come on stinky, do you really think that is doing anything positive for you or those around you?

 

I wash mine about once a month, and by wash I mean rinse with water. I do a deep clean every 2 months and never have a problem of smell or crap build-up.

BTW, cool dreads, bet you cant wait to get some length after all this time. Have they stopped shrinking yet?

mandy: the last picture is from a squat party that i went to at the weekend the house was in a bit of disrepair... great fun thou!!!

in terms of washing my hair people i have found that over the last 2 years the time between washes has grow in length as i'm stripping my hair of less and less natural oil... and as i'm washing with a shampoo that doesn't leave resides my hair stay a lot cleaner for longer...

i mean look at the pictures there are a lot of people very close to my hair and don't look disgusted by them... after all it just natural hair!!!

oh and if any newbie have questions about the natural process let me know i'm very willing to chat about them.

and I agree, I only wash my hair once in a while, washing it takes all my blue hair dye out and it''s pretty much impossible to dry it when it's not summer time which puts it in risk of getting mouldy so I'm cleaner and less smelly when I only do it once a month or so.

 

oh you look like so much fun!!! I wash my hair as little a possible these days..they just take far too long to dry.2 days are so and it's too damn cold to be sleeping with wet hair.The changes your hair has gon through is amazing <3
