NBK is fucking genius. Woody, Juliet, Downey, Dangerfield, Sizemore, Tommy Lee Jones..............Absolute genius cast. Tarantino story, Stone directed. The switching of formats, killer soundtrack, lots of blood and violence, and very funny. I could not ask to see a better movie. I have seen this movie so many times my DVD is wearing out. If I wasn't watching NBK I would watch American Psycho. That is another excellent movie. The sequel to American Psycho sucks. William Shatner should have retired after Star Trek. The only good work he has done is narrated "The Atomic Bomb Movie".
UGH! I can't believe anyone likes "House of 1000 Corpses"! I had decent hopes before I saw it. Thankfully it didn't cost me anything to see it -- I watched it at someone's house. NONE of the, like 8 of us could make heads or tails of what the hell was supposed to be going on, and nobody was high or anything! Not only was there absolutely no story, there was no decent fucking GORE! I also would hardly call Natural Born Killers "genius." I found it to be an empty, pointless indulgence in ultraviolence for ultraviolence's sake. There was no "message." There was no "social commentary." It was just there to tittilate. I thought it was depraved and objectionable, and I normally have a high-ish tolerance for that kind of thing. Blue skies, -Jeffrey
nbk is the BEST!!! i have been obsessed with that movie ever since i saw it and i agree that the cast could not have been better. i originally got the soundtrack before i got the movie (i am a huge fan of trent reznor) and then i fell in love with the movie. i would have to say that natural born killers and reqium for a dream, and nosferatu are my favorite movies. have you seen lost highway? if you liked nbk then you would probably like that one.
NBK ROCKED. i love tarantino's dark humor. i can't believe there were copy cat killers i wish ppl would grow the fuck up and realize that art is just art. tarantino is the master.
I can appreciate House of 1000 Corpses for being plain ol' insane. Besides that blonde was hot as shit. I would let her cut my face up with a straight edge razor and then I fuck the shit out of her. The old man was priceless also. "Ladies and germs, it's SHOWTIME!!!" What I can appreciate in movies like this and NBK is that there is no supernatural powers working, just plain old crazy. Crazy can be your neighbor. NBK pointless??? Depending on which way you wanted to interpret the movie that day, the ultraviolene was the point. How could you not see that? The medias glorification of violence and societies indulgence of it???
I agree, for what it was, NBK is by far the best movie ever. The casting director should be awarded. It couldn't have happened without matching the acting crew to the individual characters, as they were on this movie. From the dumb redneck in the cafe to Tommy Lee Jones.

I used to love this film. Its actually one of the films that got me really interested and filmmaking and made me buy my first super 8 camera. I still like it quite a bit but I think the film goes downhill starting in the jail (the second half of the film). both Harrelson and Lewis and great in it as well as Jones. Tarantino wrote the story but the script is alot different, though theres a good amount of dialog that isnt changed much at all.
