Name your instrument?

Do you name your instrument? What do you call it (or him? her?)?

My guitar looks like this:



I've had it for 3 years, and I like it a lot, but I still haven't named it. What sort of name would suit it?

 

ammet for my bass because the first time I heard it it practically at my soul (drool) and my clarinet is clarise, I was 12 give me a break

I call him whatever, sometimes it's baby, sometimes it's pete. Anything!

 

yeah...my bass is generally baby....

 

i like to call it 'mygitar'

 

My Spanish baby is called Juanita.. Since Yamaha is Japanese, you should give yours a Japanese name.. Shinji is nice..

 

im now naming my guitar 'James McHabbington of Courtfield Manor'

 

I named my clarinet Lucille... I do not know why

My 12 string acoustic guitar is "Blondy" and my Piano is Alec. (It's a Baldwin! What can I say?)

 

Haha.... my neighbor had a steinway and I always called it Lucille. It was ebony... reminded me of BB King and Lucille.

Hmm, you really got to listen to your guitar dude no one can name your guitar for you, but either way dude its your baby and your girl so you have to name her. My guitar's name is Crystal because there is this awesome rossette around the sound hole that sorta looks like lil bits of crystal. I used to know a girl name Crystal. And the sound of it just sounds like unqiue sorta like crystal. (and no i don't do meth!)

But dude just play your guitar and your guitar talks to you, find a name that fits the feeling when you play her, or what she looks like. but make sure its something that appeals to you.

 

I cant choose a name for my purple Yamaha bass guitar...
