Name Change

I've been thinking about gettin my name changed since i was a little girl. I've never felt comfy with it, and it just doesn't sound like "me". It's also very hard to say when I'm fucked up or have a stuffy nose. the problem is everyone who knows me said they would refuse to call me by another name?

What do you guys think?

I think if you want to change it you should. Its your name and you should do with it what you like. And if people you know refuse to call you by another name, well thats just petty and sad and to hell with them.

I'll probably keep my first name, but the other two are going for sure.

 

Hmm... George is plain, but it's me and I am who I am... so I'm keepin' it.

 

My first name sucks, but I'm used to it, and I prolly wouldn't respond to someone if they addressed me by some other name.

 

I don't like my name (Johanna) much. My second name is Maria, it's so much prettier. I'd much rather change my last name though... Not because I don't like it, but because no one knows how to spell or pronounce it here and when I say my name, everyone just goes like whoah, can you repeat that? So it's kinda difficult to deal with people, on the phone especially... It's not my fault though that British people don't know Finnish!

 

I think Johanna sounds better than Maria...
