Try clicking Start -> Settings -> Control Panel; then click "Add/Remove Software".

If that advice doesn't work download lavasoft ad-aware(http://www.lavasoft.de), then restart your computer in safe mode(if you have xp at the first windows screen press f8) and then run this software. Do not open internet explorer while this software is running or the spyware can still be left on there. Finally after you have removed the software, run this program http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/files/cwshredder.zip to rid your pc of your browswer hijack.

This program works with all Coolwebsearch affiliates also.

    Hope this helps,

    Cody

MYSEARCH is a hideous encarnation straight from the the depts of hades. Ad aware and Spybot don´t always remove it. You can look on their site. There is a tool for removing the software, but it´s made by the same people who made the spyware in the firstplace. Anyway, here is the link http://mysearchnow.com/help.html

Herbert, I believe the program you are talking about is CWS shredder. I enclosed a link in my post...it's for ridding a system of my search

Thanks Lunatic. CWS Shredder is a great anti-spyware program, but, what I was trying to write is that the same people that make mysearch, also post a removal tool on their own website (see link in post above).

That´s what happens when I post without proofreading my own stuff. [IMG]
