My Views On Charlie Kirk.

Charlie Kirk was a jerk. I'm sorry he's dead, he didn't deserve that, what the gunman did to him was very wrong. But, I still think he was a jerk.

 

It's got to sting for the conservatives, such a BLOODY ACURATE shot of KARMA to the throat.

I was told he said, 'gun deaths are necessary'...

Then they got Trump lying dirty his ass off, twisting the blame for these shootings on democrats. Wasn't the kid who shot at him a registered republican? Wasn't Melissa Hortman a democrat? Don't they not even know who the shooter is yet? Talk about of group of evil delusional fucks who can't take their own medicine.

 

If you're gonna lie as much as he did, to millions of young impressionable people to enrich yourself, to get in good with powerful people you are going to be held accountable sooner or later. Yes it's karma, shooting him in the throat.

All we can hope for is that people in power start turning down the rhetoric before it's too late. But of course we don't see that, especially from the Republicans who will now want even more Guns on campus and in schools.

Here's an idea, put the National Guard in every school. Homegrown Americans are more violent than Tren de Aragua, construction workers, gardeners and housekeepers. Oh, and they'll be there to prevent those dangerous, radical students who support Palestinians from expressing their free speech.

 

It is entirely possible to abhor violence, and at the same time acknowledge that Charlie Kirk was an absolutely horrible person; a racist misogynistic homophobic Christo-Fascist demagogue who made millions spreading and cultivating hatred, polluting the minds of a generation of children, whose greatest contribution to humanity was the moment he stopped breathing. Both of those sentiments can be simultaneously objectively true.

 

I promise not engage in an unseemly display of schadenfreude and celebrate Charlie Kirk's death...like he celebrated the death of 5 year old Hind Rajab, shot 355 times by the gallant heroes of the IDF.

 

All I can say is - nice shooting. The throat shot was poetic justice.

If the rhetoric isn't toned down, beginning with trump and that crowd, this could start a back and forth killing spree. In my opinion, the guy was a racist prick---but killing those with whom we ( or they) disagree is a road to more thoughtless actions leading to nowhere but chaos and the further degradation of democracy. Not that our democracy was in any way perfect-----progress was being made over the last hundred years toward liberalization---and now the fuckin republicans, led by the orange fuck head , are taking us backwards ,as they usually do when they are in office.
