My trip to a waterfall

My boyfriend and I live in a very close-minded place and we pretty much hate it here. But luckily for us, we have each other and just about 15 miles away, our own little chunk of heaven. It's a tiny little waterfall that feeds into a creek off the Canadian river. Here are some pictures from our little day trip we took down there last week. (If they're a little large, I apologize).

I couldn't resist playing in the sand



Hehe, this would be Dan's skeptical face. He didn't believe I could really get a picture of us both. I don't even know what face I'm making. And I'm all zitty and goofy looking (For better pictures of me, see sig and gallery, lol)

Too bad someone had to litter a soda bottle and a gatorade bottle :-/

 

Very beautiful - but I hope you guys picked up the Gatorade bottle and soda can out of the river, not so hot on the litter. Leave no trace!

Heh, the Gatorade bottle was his and yes, we took it along. The soda can blew into the unknown before we left(probably the poison ivy). It's sad because there are little remainders of grafitti out there on the rocks under the plants and stuff (I go out there in winter when everything is dead, too). It seems it used to be a big popular place for partying. At least it's clean for the most part, still. That can was possibly the first bit of litter I've ever seen down there.
