It was not lies, but bad intellegence that came from the previous eight years of the incompetent Clinton administration. Clinton gutted the money from the CIAs budget, which resulted in many of the senior officers of the CIA either retiring or quiting in disgust. It was because of this, America's guard was down. America did not see them loading the weapons onto 747s, because there was no one there to see them. And as you know, President Billy was far to busy in the Oval office to be concerened about events overseas anyway.
Just ask his girl friend. And I think this might be the third time I have stated this. We did not know about the transfer of weapons until after the invasion.

You cannot make an argument based on this information, it is not solid intelligence. Since the invasion of Iraq we have received large amounts of information from detainees, former regime members, former Iraq Military officers, etc.. regarding the whereabouts of WMD. Little to none of the information has been verified. We do know that there was a large amount of smuggling into Syria during the months leading up to the invasion. Reports have stated that WMD was transferred into and around Syria under the command of General Zou al-Himma al-Shaleesh. Personally supervised by Assaf Shawqat. Warheads, missiles, components, and guidance systems are supposed to be concealed in tunnels in al-Baida and Kamishli. Vital parts were also being stored in Hama and Salamiyyah and other equipment were stored in tunnels near Shinsar. This is believed to be the location of Iraq Operational WMD. Production equipment is know to have moved to Libya, Sudan, and Algeria. Reports have indicated that in the later summer of 2002 the remaining WMD Production equipment was shipped to Lavizan, Iran and in tunnels beneath the Zagros mountains. Of course we might as well have information that Santa Claus is storing them in the North Pole, because without invading these countries, they will probably never be found (unless surrendered).

You are correct. During the Clinton terms the human intelligence sector was systematically dismantled. Funding was diverted to NSA for satellite surveilance, CIA budgets were cut, and operational freedom was restricted to a point where many field officers simply retired. Starting after the first Gulf War and continuing until September of 2001, it was a gradual decline of intelligence coming from the ground. All surveilance was going electronic. Washington found it more politically acceptable to cut off the flow of money to foreign assets (many of which were terrorist collaborators, criminals, warlords, etc..) which provided this valuable intelligence. And they found it more politically benefitial to give billions of dollars to defense contractors to provide communications monitoring and sat imagery.

You really need to approach a different form to making an argument. I think you get so exicited in thinking that you have a point, that you fail to see that what you are saying does not make sense. Perhaps it is A.D.D., but you really need to slow down and comprehend a post before you try and respond to it.
