how long was your hair to begin? i don't want little stubs..

 

not that long, actually.. It used to be really long but I had it cut this summer.

yep.. i need to grow it out some more.. its as long as my shoulders right now

 

well, my hair's layered and the longest layer really wasn't that much past my shoulder.. but they really don't look all that much shorter.

they are just kinda hard to pull back into a ponytail now, lol.
but good luck with those if you decide to do them! it really takes forever to get them all done.. definately worth it in the end though

 

Looking good. Just one thing...my hair was down to my ass before I dreaded my hair. And now...8 months later...it's as short as your hair right now...haha. Just be prepared for some major shrinkage...

 

those are some of the best dreads ive ever seen, and totally look better than what i imagined you telling me.

oh, of course thats gonna happen. thats been my life goal for who knows how long......but i have a fear of haircuts and i dont want that long hippie hair that goes all the way down your back....so who knows after my goal is reached ill either keep my morrison hair or dread it.

that's alot of shrinkage. i've never heard of anyone having that much shrinkage. my hair was just past my ears when i got mine, and there was barely any shrinkage at all. almost 2 years in, and they've doubled in length.

but everyone's hair is different. it depends on how long/short and thick/thin your hair is.

whoa, yea.. mine didn't shrink nearly that much either.. like i said, you can't really even tell it's any shorter.
