I had an ex that used to get his cat stoned and after a while, the cat developed these weird ticks like sucking his tail and twitching so bad he'd skyrocket into the air...

 

Really, that is so very not cool. An adult pet will seek you out, if it wants this...animals can smell MUCH better than humans, and it will look for you, if it is so inclined. You should NOT force shot-guns on anything, most especially on a "baby" anything - read kitten or puppy.

I've had animals that both did and did not want it. LET IT COME TO YOU! And then, since it is much smaller than you, it should receive "amounts" sparingly. I am serious.
I knew a dude that did that to his puppy - and it died in about 2-3 weeks. I've never had anything else to do with him, either...especially since I VOICED my opinion as I saw it happening.

My cat comes and sits on my lap when I start toking and is much happier afterwards.

If she didn't like it or it made her trip out, I wouldn't do it. I love animals, but if there is no negative affect from marijuana on a human other then psychological dependance, I don't think it should affect Chubby badly.

 

On a human*
A kitten is a dozen times smaller then a human and does not poses the same state of self awareness as a human. Certain spider bites are harmless to a dog yet would prove fatal to most humans, im not saying that blowing smoke in a cats face is of the same severity as a spider bite but regardless its not a good idea. What it boils down to is a cat is not a human. a cats life is pretty sweet, shes probably chill 24/7 so even if its not dangerous why even risk it?
all in all, leave "chubby" out of rotation.

 

You should not get your pets high, it can effect them in different ways then it effects you or me. Sometimes with bad results.

 

Check the kittens non-stoned (if thats a word) state if it comes back towards the bong I see no reason to continue, and hello I'm new to.
