my home made bong

nothing special but i made it out of a moutain dew bottle and my glass stem from my last bong i broke...but its all taped up because when i put the stem in it it just went straight and not down so i had to tape it up...under the tape is gum around the stem, so its air tight...his name is Bryan lol i havent smoked Bryan yet but possible this weedend

 

Not much for looks but isn't it a pain in the ass holding the chamber up while you burn? Surely you don't keep it that way when using it. Also, use a stronger tape.

 

keeping the chamber up? just hold it in my hand damn im not that clumbsy...but eh thats the only tape i could find...hold it good but i dont wanna mess with it any more its fine as is...and im not going for looks just for the tokes

Arent Mtn Dew bottles green? Has anyone noticed on the cans at the bottom, they spelled seperately wrong? They put separately.

ok i took a couple hits from it last night...and the first hit was pretty smooth and was alright...but then my second hit tasted awefull i almost threw up...why did that happen!?

godammitPlease people stop using gum and tape and shit to seal your stems and stuff. it will only lead to dissapointment, extra work, less appetising looking bong, and higher maintenance (or just having to make a new one faster). as well as this it will lower your bong-making-self-esteem when you cant make a perfectly airtight and functional ghetto bong and compel you to subconsciously look down apon home mades, and go and spend lots of money on new pieces.

that bowl looks like it would easily slip into some garden hose

but of course everyone will avoid this information since everyone always does and in all the time ive been here saying it over and over theres been less than 1% of posted ghettos without some foreign sealing product like gum or putty or layers and laters of tape or something...
