my GOD. scary night.

well, only one part, anyways. (by the way i snuck out of my house and this could have been REALLY epic) my secret lover and i went down to the river at about midnight. 15 minutes after we get there we see this flash light. we both knew it was a cop, and thank GOD neither of us had shit on us. so this cop comes down and asks how old we are. i lie and say i'm 18 so the guy i'm with doesn't get the screwed. he asked me if i had my license and i was like no. and he was like do you have id i was like, yeah my school ID at home? and he was like how do you not have ANY id. i was like sorry. so then he TRIES getting my name and address and "home phone number". totally lied about EVERYTHING. i made up some fake name and used a real street but a fake house address. gave a real city and a real zip code though. god. and then the phone number thing. i forgot what i said the first time and he kept asking me to repeat it and i was like !!!!!. then he was saying about how there's a big "narcotics" problem and i was like.. do you want to search my bag. so he did. SUCKA DIDN'T FIND SHIT BECAUSE I DIDN'T HAVE ANY. ASSHOLE. so takes my guy back to his car and the cop was like "oh well you can stay here if you want" i was thinking to myself what the FUCK you just came down here to pester us and now you're saying i can stay, by myself, at night, in an area with a drug problem? WTF?! so i just follow them back up because i was like fuck that. he ran my guys license and then proceeded to ask me if i thought the river was haunted. i was like, ....no. then he was like you guys have a nice night and i was like YOU TOO!

smoooooth criminal. but i was TOTALLY shitting bricks the entire time.

Reminds me of the time I lied to the cops about my adddress. then they go "can you repeat that?" and I just TOALLY fuckin guessed and it was right ahahaha.

since the cop came down and straight up asked me for my info, can he like LEGALLY do that? besides me telling him to search my bag (frankly i wanted to get out of there ASAP and i was willing to just give the damn thing to him) was he allowed to do any of that?

that definitely sucks. i need to make up a fake address that i use all the time. just so i won't have to go through the guessing game again. i lie way too well for my own good. whatevs i know i said the phone number wrong the second time i said it, i was just lookin good tonight so mr cop man probably gave me a break.

 

Yeah the cops can ask you for you info for no reason, and if you refuse to give them your info, they can actually arrest you. They can also arrest you for giving false info. It's fukt up, really.

Indeed, it is too much power. If you don't give them your info, then they assume you have something to hide, such as warrants or whatever, and they take you to jail until they find out who you are and if you have any warrants. I think you can actually be charged for giving them false info.

we weren't doing anything. i mean like, ANYTHING. no smoking, not even cigs. we were literally just sitting on a fallen log on the side of a river looking at the moon. it's not like we were having straight up sex, just sitting.


i personally think it's ridiculous that they can do that. how can you sit there and pester regular people for sitting? AND WE WEREN'T EVEN HIDDEN. there's a bike path that will take you into more "secluded" parts of said river, where people actually do drugs, we were in the main area. sitting on a log.

but he was pretty cool, looking back that he didn't take it any further than what he did.

he probably saw 2 young kids sitting there late at night
and probably thought something was going on (drugs, sex, i dunno)
that's probably why he came down.. plus it was probably past curfew for you guys...

 

Maybe it is haunted. Maybe the cop was actually just the ghost of a cop that was murdered near the river.

So? Who gives a fuck? They should do their job without ABUSING THEIR POWER. I was once sitting in MY OWN DRIVEWAY in my car listening to music, and a cop pulls into my driveway, tells me to get out of my car, looks at my identification and SEES that it is my driveway, but he still put cuffs on me, searched my car, searched me and reached in all my pockets, ran my name through his computer, and then he took the cuffs off of my wrists and left. WTF is that shit? Fuck their job. Go suck a cop's dick.

 

dude did you read the OP? they were just sitting on the log, not smoking, not having sex, just sitting. how would you like it if every time you waited for a bus a cop asked you for your ID, knowing you would be arrested if you didn't comply? it would sure piss you off after a while.
