I finally got my first tattoo yes2day! Jumped in at the deep end: I'd had a design in mind for a year or so, to go in the centre of my back, it's quite big! Alot of people told me to go for something smaller at first, so I would know what I was in for.. but I knew just what I wanted. It hurt quite a bit, being on the spine an all.. but the pain was managable, just alot like being scratched alot.. and the vibrations felt strange! At some points I couldn't work out weather it hurt or tickled! I'm gonna say that it hurt the most directly on the spine near my neck and on the edge of the top of my sholderblades. I was told that the first 5 mins are the worst, and for me this was totally right! After that its not as shocking! Just thought I would share my story, as there are quite a few post on here about pain and placement! If I work out how to add photos I will put one up..
