My Dready Timeline - Mistakes & Learning :)

Hey Folks, well after all the help you have been giving me over the last months, I thought an update was in order, well I think its coming on about 7 months now, and most of that was hindered by backcombing for months & waxing
But after all the advice from you guys, i'm now* happy with the progress & my journey, also just to say the deep clense & wax removal thread has helped me alot:cheers2:
So these are how it started
They looked soooo shit!

 

My Waxing Phase:

 

*3-4 months of nothing-ness*

they look really well matted to me, and i found the same.. photos never did mine justice (not that it matters now cause i dont got any..)

hey, wow! look at that progress! haha... isn't it funny how it's like... no progress, no progress, not much progress, OMG I HAVE DREADS!! like overnight! lol.

they look way awesome. you can really tell that getting the wax out really contributed to the progress you're seeing right now. rock on man!!!

btw, you have really awesome eyes.

and yeah... i hate wax as well. if the wax doesn't come out completely, at least your hair is *somewhat* short, so if you end up cutting off the wax parts when it gets all nice an long, it won't be too much. but i'll keep my fingers crossed for you that it'll all come out eventually.

that's awesome! and you're welcome.... i always like to try and help other dreadies whenever i can, even if it's just saying "breathe, it'll be ok!" lol...

my locks are FINALLY seeming to mature now. since i ripped them into smaller sections, it seems to have set the progress back a little. but i'm starting to really see growth, and they're starting to mature a bit... which is really exciting!

 

There is no better feeling that knowing that your hair is knotting up really nicely
The feeling waking up with a dread across your eyes or around your neck is the best ever, its just that whole feel of satisfaction!
Im getting some awesome growth on the back, this one dread has come together so much over the last 2 months, its so natural & lumpy

THE 1ST FEW WAXY ONES DID LOOK FUNNY BUT THE AFTER WAX ONES ONCE U GOT IT OUT LOOK LIKE THWY MADE GREAT PROGRESS PRETTY QUICKLY AND THEYRE NOT STICKING OUT ALL WEIRD NOW EITHER

man though those ones with the visible wax clumps...u should put those on dreadheadhq edit the photo to add wax destroys dreads or something to it..

hahaha, i want mine back now =[ gatta grow my hair out a bit first,, its way short (cut like 5 inches off it after i got rid of my dreads) crappyy.
