not really feeling anything for him since his been absent for the past 22 years of my life. his friend from texas tolled me his going to send me his stuff to my house.
No need to be sorry. His the one that never made a effort to reach to me. His friend from Texas tolled me that he always talked about me yet never manned up to give me a call(he had my number).
Losing a parent is a very strange thing, regardless of how close we are with them. Sorry to hear your relationship with him wasn't better.
better wait till it arrives before celebrating...it could be a trunk full of severed heads or something
missed out more on having a male figure in my life really.....I guess thats why I enjoy reading biographies of great man that accomplished things in their lives.
sorry to hear about that. loosing a family member is never good news, even if they were distanced by time and space.
My dad died when I was 13. He was real sick from diabetes he gave his drunken self, so at the time I mostly felt relieved for him - and other than that, I didn't care much. Getting older makes me miss him more, even though he was a shitty father. Dunno if that insight into my story will mean anything to you, but it's the only thing I could think to say.
yeah i know am doing so since everyone here is too broke to ship him back to the motherland (Honduras.)
