MS PATCH FEB-2006 Errors

If you are running MS Windows XP SP2, and had pathed your TCPIP.SYS file or done registry hacks in the past to fix problems relating to eventid 4226, this week's MS patchs will have broken you again. This may cause errors with network based applications, such as file sharing programs.

There a a few solutions to this issue, but the best I've found so far has been the patcher from LclLord.de ( http://www.lvllord.de/ ). This will allow you to release the M$ restrictions on your TCP stack.
