I have finally decided that I am going to go to Grad school in British Columbia... judging by the users on here, Canadians are awesome so I am looking forward to it.
Masters in Botany Mainland. The thought of living in Vancouver does terrify me though since the largest town I have ever lived in is 15,000 people.
congrats on the grad school. can't say i care much about location, but it's nice that you seem to be happy with where you're going.
i guess they're kind of related, but i think it's quite possible to be good at botany and not biology, or vice versa. i know people who are good at geometry but not algebra, and i think those are probably more closely related than botany/biology.
Anytime I took a biology class and we had to go over the plants, I never grasped any of it because it did not interest me.
they got these cool see through strips on there $50s and $100. And loonies and twonies. Not like our boring ass money
that's interesting, i don't remember ever going over plants in biology class. so either our biology teachers emphasized different things, or i found the plant stuff even less interesting than you did. i really don't know which one is the case.
You are completely right... I am not actually very good at Biology in general. I find a lot of things like cell functions very confusing. But I am good at identifying plants and understanding how they are related.
And on our twenties. :2thumbsup: Loonies and toonies are great, when you throw coin in your pockets and forget about them, it's a nice surprise to find that you have more money on you than you thought.
welcome to canada! I've never been out west, but apparently it's beautiful. I'll make my way out there in a couple of years. are you going to UBC?
Welcome to Canada and I hope that you love it. Congrats on your continued studies and all the best to you.
