There are a ton of movies that go un recognized, both hollywood and indie. Post any movie you think belongs here. I'll start with -Ghost Dog :way of the samurai -Six-string samurai
A Walk In The Clouds. Okay Keanu was wooden.. the story a little cliched maybe but the cinematography was gorgeous. And in Aitana Sanchez-Gijon u have pure sensuality .. just see the scene where Keanu and her are defrosting grapes.
Anyone see Night On Earth? It used to be on IFC for a while. Its not so much under-rated as it is un-known. Theres some famous foreign actors in it, and that girl from BeetleJuice.
Its a really OLD one, but, "Sunshine". It was about a single Dad raising a Daughter. One of the great unknowns.
The People Under the Stairs - definitely!! Also.. Now & Then (Chick flick; "coming of age" story) Toys (Totally crazy movie, cannot be explained)
I knooooooooow! I own it...so whenever I feel like watchin' a bunch of chick flicks, I grab Now & Then, Waiting to Exhale, and a few others - but those are the must-haves.
Oh yeah, my mom used to watch it whenever it came on too, and we'd get it when we'd order pizza and get movies. Its been a while since I've seen it though...I'll have to check it out again, soon.
so under-rated that they have released Clerks X with uncut scenes and bonus footage. How many under-rated films have re-releases?
trainspotting--a scottish movie about herion addicts in Europe...maybe not the BEST movie in the world, but VERY underated. Anyone else ever seen it? thirteen--i thought that movie kicked ass, but everyone else hated it
I've seen Trainspotting..well scenes. Something about being on acid and letting a baby rot or something? sound firmiliar?
